Established in 1986, the La Pine Activity Center was created with the goal of developing and maintaining an active Senior Citizen program for the greater La Pine area. Our mission is to encourage older adults to utilize their skills, unlock their potential, and remain engaged within our community—“Engage at Every Age.”

At the La Pine Activity Center, we promote healthy, independent living and strive to empower our seniors to be visible contributors to the community. We believe in enhancing the quality of life for our senior citizens while fostering a sense of connection and belonging.

We offer a variety of programs for all ages, providing seniors with opportunities to interact and collaborate with the entire community. As a nonprofit organization, we do not receive government funding; instead, we rely on the generosity of our community through donations, sponsor fees, member fees, fundraising events, and our incredible volunteers to keep our doors open.

Join Us for Lunch!

We serve a delicious hot lunch from Tuesday to Thursday, 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Lunch is open to the general public, and for those aged 60 and over, it’s free (with a suggested donation of $5). For everyone else, lunch is just $6. Our menus are posted on our Facebook page, so be sure to check them out!

The La Pine Activity Center is more than just a facility; it’s a warm and welcoming “home away from home” for everyone. Fully air-conditioned, we provide a cool respite from the summer heat and a vibrant hub for community activities.
